There are always "collaborators". During the Chechen Civil War


there were Chechens who were put in place by the Russias/Soviets as puppet to appear as their were Chechens who did not agree with the rebels. And of course, when Chechen rebels bomb Soviet installations and such, they inevitably kill some of their own which risks their own messaging. So it isn't a surprise to see Chechens from 'both sides"
